HART ACRES

Music, art, and the magic of the Mojave

Hi! Thank you for your interest in joining us at the songwriter sleepover. Here’s the dealio:

The Songwriter Sleepover is a Listen Local event that has taken place at various campgrounds and wineries in San Diego county over the past 15 years. It’s open to musicians and music lovers 21+ and is a chill weekend to write songs, collaborate, jam, and spark your creativity. I’m excited to be able to host this event at our home in the high desert.

The Summer Songwriter Sleepover 2021 will take place on June 25th and 26th. Check in is at noon on Friday, check out is noon on Sunday, you may arrive or depart anytime in between. We’re open to tent camping, car camping and we have room for a few small RVs, also.

FRIDAY – Arrive, set up, relax. There will be a communal fire side byo dinner and jam session on Friday night at sunset until 10pm.

SATURDAY - We’ll provide breakfast burritos on Saturday morning and there will be a few workshops during the day on Saturday. Saturday night we’ll have a fireside concert featuring all of the songs written to the suggested title you’ll receive a few weeks before the event.

Other stuff to do at Hart acres includes:  mini golf, bocce ball, horseshoes, hiking, shopping in The Green Room thrift store located on site, photo shoots, video shoots, arts/crafts, soaking in “the pond”, or day trips to Joshua Tree, Big Bear, etc.

Cost per person is $60 which includes 2 nights, 1 breakfast burrito, a few new songs and a bunch of great memories. Message Cathryn@ListenLocalRadio.com to confirm your rsvp. Your camp fee keeps Listen Local Radio rocking in the free world and is non-fundable. If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, your full fee can be applied towards any future events here at Hart Acres or towards purchase of art, clothing or photography services from 1/2 Fast Foto and The Green Room. Thank you!
